The Windows client kill switch blocks network traffic if the protected tunnel drops unexpectedly, helping prevent an unprotected fallback.
How does DNS leak protection work?+
BlackFox routes DNS requests through the protected connection so they do not bypass the VPN tunnel. This protection is included in the Windows 4.0 release candidate.
Does BlackFox keep browsing logs?+
No. BlackFox does not keep browsing-history logs or retain the content of traffic passing through the encrypted tunnel.
Why might Windows show a publisher warning?+
The current Windows build is a private beta and is not yet digitally signed. Only authorised testers should install it until organisation code signing is introduced.
What should I do if a device is lost?+
Remove the device and its VPN profile from the protected member portal so the retired profile can no longer be used.
Which platforms are supported?+
Windows is currently in private beta. Android is in development, with other platforms planned after testing and validation.
How many devices can I protect?+
One BlackFox membership supports up to five registered devices.
Can I cancel at any time?+
Yes. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled through PayPal. Access continues according to your current billing period.
