BlackFox is designed around data minimisation. This summary explains the information required to operate your account and membership.

Information we need

We process the account information you provide, such as your email address and username, together with essential membership, device and security records required to deliver and protect the service.

VPN activity

BlackFox does not keep browsing-history logs or record the content of internet traffic passing through the VPN tunnel. We do not build advertising profiles from your browsing activity.

Operational and security data

Limited technical, account and security information may be processed where required to authenticate members, manage registered devices, prevent abuse, investigate faults and maintain service availability. This information is not used to create a history of websites visited.

Cookies and similar technologies

The public BlackFox website does not currently use analytics, advertising, profiling or other non-essential cookies or browser-storage technologies. For that reason, it does not display a cookie-consent banner.

If non-essential technologies are introduced in future, this notice will be updated and those technologies will remain disabled until the visitor makes an affirmative choice.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by PayPal. BlackFox receives the subscription information needed to activate and manage your membership but does not store your full payment-card details. PayPal may use its own technologies when you visit or use its service; its privacy and cookie information applies there.

Security and retention

Essential account and security records are retained only for as long as needed for service delivery, security, legal obligations and dispute resolution.
